DWELLING FIRE/THREE DEATHS
INCIDENT: Dwelling Fire with (3) Deaths
WHEN: June 9, 2008 @ Approximately 1:08 AM.
WHERE: 608 Marie Dr. Browns Mills NJ.
VICTIMS: Young Boo Lee, age 74 (Husband of Tasuk)
Tasuk Lee, age 67 (Wife of Young)
Myo Sun Lee, age 92 (Mother of Young)
DETAILS: On June 9, 2008 @ approximately 1:08 am, Pemberton Township Police were dispatched to a 911 call for a dwelling fire located at 208 Marie Dr. Upon the arrival of the police, the residence was declared fully involved with reports of a least two explosions. Officers made notification to the surrounding residents and ordered evacuations for their safety. All five fire departments from the township responded as well as Ft. Dix to fight the blaze. The fire was declared under control at 2:47 am. Three victims died as a result of the fire and were identified as the current residents. At this time there has been no determination as to the cause and/or origin of the fire. Members from the State and Burlington Co Fire Marshalls Office, and Burlington Co. Prosecutors Office are currently assisting the Pemberton Township Police Detective Division in determining the cause.
