Multi-Vehicle Accident on the NJ Turnpike
ROBBINSVILLE — A multi-vehicle accident on the North Bound side of the NJ Turnpike sent at least five people to the hospital on Friday May 9, 2008. The accident occurred just before the Exit 7A Interchange under the Edgebrook Road overpass. A box truck, a dump truck and at least five vehicles were involved in the late afternoon crash. Crews from the Robbinsville Township Fire Department, Hightstown First Aid Squad responded to the scene as well as Mercer County Paramedics. Allentown First Aid Squad was also called to the scene but was not needed for transport. Response crews from the NJ Turnpike Authority were on scene cleaning up an oil spill at the scene of the crash. NJ State Police are investigating the crash.
