UPPER FREEHOLD (MONMOUTH)-- The body of a Morrisville, Pa., resident was found in a lake at the state's Assunpink Wildlife Management Area Friday and the circumstances surrounding his death are now under investigation, state police said.
The man, identified by state police as
63-year-old Henry Kosecki, was found in Assunpink Lake shortly
before 10:30 a.m. following a 911 call from someone who spotted
his body floating in the water.
State police said Kosecki apparently had been fishing when he
died. An overturned kayak was found near his body.
There was no obvious evidence of foul play, state police said, noting that an autopsy will be performed to determine if Kosecki drowned or died from some kind of medical emergency.
