Hamilton Township (MERCER)--On January 14, 2008 at approximately 8:35 p.m. a fire was reported at 22 Elton Ave. in the Township's Yardville section. First arriving firefighters observed smoke on the second floor and put a line in operation and quickly knocked down the fire within twenty minutes. Firefighters were summoned from Groveville, Whitehorse, Rustling, Robbinsville as well as Hamilton EMS responded to the scene. Firefighters managed temperatures well below 32F and ice started to become a problem.

NJFFOL correspondent Mike Morell lives in the area and was one of the first photographers on the scene and captured some great photographs. He would like to thank everyone who helped the family and the family is grateful to the fire departments for keeping Hamilton a safe place to live.
